Welcome to b connect! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including our marketing website, business-customer platform, and guest Wi-Fi services.
Depending on how you interact with us, different sections of these Terms will apply to you.

1. Who We Are
B-Connect FTRA Ltd., trading as b connect ("B-Connect", "we", "us", or "our"), provides guest Wi-Fi services, a management platform for business customers, and related services.

These Terms apply to:
Visitors of our Marketing Website (https://www.b-connect.co.uk/)
Business customers using our Platform (https://app.b-connect.co.uk/)
End-users accessing Guest Wi-Fi services through our Captive Portal on behalf of our business customers
3. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use our services.

4. Accessing Our Website
You can browse our website for information about our services.
By accessing the website, you agree to comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on our website (text, graphics, logos, etc.) is owned by or licensed to B-Connect. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our permission.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to misuse our website, including:
Engaging in illegal activities
Attempting to gain unauthorized access
Introducing viruses or malicious code
Engaging in spamming or activities that degrade network performance
Using VPNs, torrenting, or hosting servers without authorization

Our website content is for general information only. We make no warranties about its accuracy or completeness.
SECTION B: Platform Terms of Service (for Business Customers)
8. Account Registration
To use our platform, you must register an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. Services Provided
We provide business customers with access to the B-Connect platform, enabling them to manage guest Wi-Fi networks, view analytics, and customize their captive portal experience.
10. Fees and Payments
Fees are outlined in your Service Agreement or Pricing Plan. Payments are due as specified in your invoice.
Failure to pay may result in suspension of services.
11. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you upload and for ensuring your use of the platform complies with applicable laws (including data privacy laws such as GDPR).
You are responsible for your own end-users’ data and must ensure you have appropriate legal grounds for any data processing.
You must not use our services for unlawful purposes.
12. Data Protection
We act as a data processor for guest data collected via your captive portal. As a processor, we process data solely on your instructions, as outlined in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
You are the data controller of your guests’ data.
Our data processing obligations are set out in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms part of these Terms.
We may also process business user data as a controller (for account management, support, billing, etc.).

13. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify services for maintenance or in case of emergencies.
14. Termination
You may terminate your account by providing the notice period specified in your Service Agreement.
We may terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse.
15. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us from any claims arising out of your misuse of our platform or failure to comply with these Terms.
SECTION C: Guest Wi-Fi Terms of Use (for End-Users)
17. Guest Wi-Fi Service
These terms apply when you access guest Wi-Fi services provided by B-Connect on behalf of one of our business customers (the venue you are visiting).
18. Eligibility
The Wi-Fi service is available to patrons of participating venues using B-Connect’s services.
You may be required to verify your status as a customer, which may include checking in at the venue or entering a unique code provided by the venue.
By using the service, you also agree to comply with any rules or guidelines established by the participating venue.
19. Registration and Access
Upon connecting to the guest Wi-Fi network provided by the venue, you will be redirected to our Captive Portal.
You must complete the registration process, including providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
Before gaining access, you must read and accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice.
After successful registration, you will be granted access to the Wi-Fi service. Your access may be subject to time limits or session restrictions as set by the venue.
Session durations and reconnection windows may vary depending on the venue’s chosen configuration.
You are responsible for logging out properly to avoid connection issues in future sessions.
20. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Engage in illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities
Upload, distribute, or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
Access, display, or distribute unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Attempt to bypass or breach any security mechanisms of the network
Use the network for unauthorized commercial purposes
Engage in spamming or activities that degrade network performance
Use VPNs, torrenting, or host servers without authorization
21. Liability for Illegal Activity
You are solely responsible for any illegal or unauthorized activity conducted through your connection to the Wi-Fi network.
B-Connect disclaims all liability for user actions.
You agree to indemnify and hold B-Connect harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from your misuse or illegal use of the service.
22. Privacy and Data Use
We collect and process data such as your email address, device information, and connection logs to provide the service and improve user experience.
Your data may be shared with the participating venue to enhance your experience and for marketing purposes, if you have provided consent.
We may share your data with trusted third parties (e.g., network providers, firewall operators) who provide services on our behalf, subject to strict confidentiality agreements.

23. Network Security
While we implement security measures, the use of public Wi-Fi carries inherent risks, including potential interception of your data by unauthorized third parties.
You are responsible for ensuring the security of your device, including keeping your software up to date and using appropriate security measures.

24. Definitions
Captive Portal refers to the web page shown to users before they access the internet via guest Wi-Fi.
Platform refers to our business-customer portal for managing Wi-Fi, analytics, and settings.
Venue refers to the physical business premises offering Wi-Fi via our services.
End-user refers to a guest or customer using Wi-Fi at a venue.
Business Customer refers to the venue or organization using our platform and services.
25. General Terms (Apply to All Users)
25.1 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes where appropriate.
Your continued use of the service after changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
25.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
